As Flook describes it, “This compilation is a work in progress... I became really immersed in the ambient/space world in the early 90's through the 'Hearts of Space' radio program, and George Parsons’ KVMR Red Eye shows... This particular mix started coming together about 13 or 14 years ago while stuck in a dark, night-time blizzard... I had thrown a bunch of percussionless tracks onto a tape before the trip and the first 3 or 4 track sequence just came together by chance... An early version of this mix was used as the audition tape for my radio show 'Senseless Acts of Randomness'...The concept and atmosphere behind this album is not meant to be sad, nor necessarily dark, but to create a space to relax, imagine, and even induce dreamtime....I’d like to thank both of the previously mentioned shows for their ongoing inspiration and education, and especially the musicians for their amazing works...With love, and great passion, for the void...”Click to listen

Originally posted in December, it has been remastered and re-posted for your listening pleasure. One of the unsung heroes of Yellow No. 5, Flook spends a lot of time working behind the scenes to make a great event happen and is the first to take the very early or really late set so that other artists can have a better timeslot.
